Assignment 15A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2
Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2
Report findings and Drab Conclusions:
- From my interviews I found that the product that I was trying to sell to people was being misunderstood and I was causing more confusion than I was clearing up what I was trying to offer to them. When I was talking more to Nick, he didn't understand if it was an app or it was a service that was being offered to clinics. Which made me want to reconsider having so much going on and just specializing on the texting/communication aspect of the product.
- When I spoke the other people they geared me more towards focusing on how I was going to present myself to clinics and how they would be speaking to a representative from my tentative company in order to purchase this product. But, that once I had been established in the clinics that is when i would start to brand myself to the patients and possibly move into the app that helps move the wait times along and facilities communication with patients and clinics better.
- I am really glad that when I was doing my interviews they focused more on the business side of the product than what my idea was, they wanted to see the product expanded and the money that I would be potentially making from it going back to being invested in expanding on the other ideas. Again once I spoke to them and explained it more the more they were happy to have this service offered to them and wanted to be able to use it successfully.
Hi Stephany,
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad that you were able to gain insight from the interviews. With the service that I was trying to offer, I found that many of my "customers" had problems with pricing since they were college students. This assignment was helpful because I discovered the problem before I decided to launch. It was a good thing that you found out that your product was misunderstood because later when you market, you have a better idea on what to say in your campaign.
Hi Stephany,
ReplyDeleteThe feedback you got seemed really helpful! Sometimes it's hard to focus on the product we're creating and the business side because of the research behind it. That's why it's always nice to talk to other people who would or would not use this product and see their side. I'm glad you decided to focus more on the actual service than everything else about it.
Hi Stephany,
ReplyDeleteI also experienced the same feeling regarding your excitement about your intreviewees focusing on the business as opposed to the product itself. Because a lot of my previous interviews focused on that so I wanted new feedback and suggestions I hadn't heard yet. Good work and I'm excited to see how your product develops.
